About the placement

You will provide face-to-face individual counselling sessions to clients presenting with depression, anxiety, life transitions or relationship difficulties… Sessions are held in Cuckfield, West Sussex.

Placements are structured to meet the requirements of your counselling and psychotherapy training course, including:

  • Provide weekly counselling to assigned clients

  • Work within the boundaries of your training and competency

  • Keep accurate and confidential records of sessions

  • Attend regular clinical supervision

  • Participate in regular placement review

Supervision and support

You will receive regular group supervision from a qualified and experienced supervisor. The cost of supervision will be divided between the group members.

In addition, we provide regular placement review and caseload support meetings, offering a space to reflect on your personal and professional development.

Our goal is to create a supportive environment where students feel empowered and well-equipped as they grow in their practice.
